What is the cut off point for Yuan Ching?

 

The cut-off point for the school varies from year to year based on our applicants.

For reference, the school's indicative PSLE score range for 2022 was:

  • 14-19 for G3

  • 21-25 for G2

  • 26-29 for G1 

Where do the students go after Yuan Ching?

4E: As high as 94% are eligible for JC/MI/Poly.

4N: As high as 84% qualify for Secondary 5.

5N: As high as 86% are eligible for JC/MI/Poly.

What is the reporting and dismissal timing for Yuan Ching?

 

Subject to changes due to FSBB, there will be staggered dismissal times in 2024.

 

The reporting times as of 2023 are 7.25am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Students report to school at 8.25am on Wednesday.

Is Higher Mother Tongue offered in Yuan Ching?

 

Higher Chinese is offered in school. Students who wish to take Higher Tamil and Higher Malay would be required to attend lessons at an external centre after school.
